I help people turn overloaded garages, basements, studios, and storage rooms back into usable space.

Usable Space offers hands-on organizing and space recovery for people with tools, books, boxes, collections, materials, unfinished projects, and accumulated belongings.
This is not minimalist makeover work. The goal is practical: make the space easier to enter, use, sort, store, and maintain.
A first session focuses on one defined area. We sort, group, zone, clear access, identify what stays, and prepare donation, recycling, disposal, or storage categories.
Usable Space is run by Thoreau (Theo) Bakker, an artist, maker, and PhD researcher working with spatial environments. I understand collections, stored projects, books, tools, and crowded creative spaces from the inside.
